Special Thanks

Special Thanks: I am 1/3 of my way done with my 30 cities in 30 days trip. I would like to give a couple special thanks:

First and foremost: Mr. Michael “Picante” Frederickson not only gave me a place to stay while he battled illness, but also gave me advice on San Fran, which was much needed. While he disagrees with my evaluation of his city, he disagrees even more with my poor grammar, and spelling errors- as such as decided to take time out of his busy day, after working for a dozen hours at Pixar, to copy edit my blog. A gentlemen or a scholar…

Second: I would like to thank all the people that allowed me to stay on couches, beds, etc.

Jared and Tyler, SLC

Sabrina and Fred, LA

Chris and Laura, Sacramento

Mike, (see above) San Fran

Denis, Miami (ie Fort Lauderdale)

Ayana, for the ride in Austin.

And everyone who has given me advice on what to do. Especially James, Kendra, the two most awesome flight attendants that Jet Blue has, and Sharon form the Fort Lauderdale Historical Society.

In a side note, and shameless promotion, I have raised about $400 for 10 charities. That isn’t bad, about $40 per charity, however I think my goal was $100 per charity. So, I am hoping that people may give a one-time donation of any amount… well almost any amount- 1 cent (I do not accept hay pennies, I apologize), to 10,000 dollars. (If you have more than 10,000 dollars to donate, you should probably look into starting a charitable cause of your very own.) The way I see it, is that I have at least a hundred readers, which isn’t all that many. If everyone gave $30 (one dollar for every city, every day, every charity) then I could make a 100 dollars for all the charities. Now some people might not have $30 to give, so they should give some other amount that they do have. Some people don’t have any money to give, in which place they should go find someone, and convince them to give on your behalf. Thanks again.

I have made contact with Soulmate James. You should visit Soulmate James website and go on a date with him. Then write a review of that date (being as brutally honest as possible) and I will post it on my website. Maybe he's not so bad after all, or is he? Help me find out.

I am compiling some statistics about my trip (# of beds I stay in, # of buses I take) if you have an interesting stat you want me to collect, let me know.
